OSDC appoints Catherine Murphy as Chief Financial Officer
The Oxford Street Development Corporation (OSDC) has appointed Catherine Murphy as its new Chief Financial Officer as work continues to transform and pedestrianise Oxford Street. It’s an exciting time for OSDC – this week Mayor Sadiq Khan confirmed that Oxford Street will go traffic-free on 26 October.
Catherine joins OSDC with more than 15 years’ experience leading complex financial, corporate and commercial operations across high-profile organisations. Her track record includes managing multi-billion-pound initiatives at Great British Energy and the Houses of Parliament Restoration & Renewal Delivery Authority, as well as extensive roles in local government including Westminster City Council.
Nabeel Khan said of her arrival.
“Catherine joins us at a pivotal moment for OSDC as we take forward our plans to deliver one of the UK’s most significant regeneration programmes, creating a world-class Oxford Street for businesses, visitors and Londoners. Catherine’s strategic insight and deep financial expertise will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of OSDC’s ambitious vision for Oxford Street and we’re thrilled to welcome her on board”
Catherine Murphy said:
“I am delighted to be joining OSDC at such an exciting time. The transformation of Oxford Street represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity, and I look forward to working with colleagues and partners to help deliver this important programme.”
